Kathy's East Coast Adventure

Hello readers my name is Kathy Wilson and I want to share my East Coast adventures with you. My mom, sister-Karen and I drove to Eastern part of Canada this summer. The trip included Prince Edward Island, where we stayed at a place called Dalevay Bye the Sea. We also saw Skinners Pond which was very nice. We then went to see where Stompin Tom Connor's had lived when he was a boy. I really enjoyed seeing the old buildings. The trip continued to the largest covered bridge in Canada. Now that was something to see. We also saw the place called Reversing Falls. The water at P.E.I. looked red – I got to put my hands and feet in it.

A few days later we were on our way to Nova Scotia to my sister, Karen's father's birth town. That was very special for us all. We even walked on the oceans floor and saw lots of pretty things. I am happy to say "I saw a real live Moose and Deer and even got pictures to prove it. I was very happy to see the most beautiful Golden Retrievers I ever did see. They were so friendly and soft to touch. These dogs were at the Lucy Maud Montgomery Resort. Lucy was the lady who wrote the books on Anne of Green Gables. Another thrilling event we did was Whale and Dolphin watching. We even got to see some Puffin birds. But not too close, but at least I can say now "I saw those kind of birds".

The things I liked the best were: Anne Shirley's house, Whale watching, Stompin Tom's building, and the beautiful flower pots with the fairies.

Thank-you Mom and Karen for taking me to PEI.

Love you guys, Kathy.
