- Lauren McIntyre, Social Services Placement Student, Fleming College

My placement experience with Blueboxing at Trent has been amazing. I have learned so much about recycling, the environment and working together to make a difference.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a Community Living Team working so hard at Trent University in order to educate students on recycling and to help reduce waste.
I quickly learned about relationships between the volunteers and Trent staff and students. Meeting so many people who share a common goal, as well as friendships, was very refreshing for me. To be welcomed into these relationships has made my placement feel more comfortable and enjoyable.
I have met many interesting and incredible people during the past four months. I have made many happy memories that I will keep with me. -Lauren
