Jenn Henwood, Outcomes Facilitator --- Lynn Cobham and Serena Cole both living independently in their own apartments in the same building discovered that they have some common interests... from Music to Movies! The ladies started scrapbooking in the fall 2011 at Crop Circles in Peterborough Square, learning from Helen Howard how to make their pictures tell a story. From this weekly class, a friendship blossomed. Since then the ladies went on a trip together to see Mary Poppins at Princess of Whales Theatre, a first for Serena. This experience was so spectacular for them that they are already searching for another play to save up for and to enjoy together!

A long-awaited visitor

Colleen's sister Kim has been living in Sweden for over fifteen years and had not had much chance to travel back to Canada, which made it hard for her to keep up the close bond she and Colleen shared growing up, as the only sisters amongst their siblings. Tony feels at home at local Elvis Tribute Festival

Tony D-WebsiteWritten by Tony Downer --- October 2011  In August I had the opportunity to attend the Elvis Tribute Festival in Tweed. That day, my excitement and admiration for Elvis grew so much that I bought two souvenirs: a huge mug with Elvis' picture and name in lights, and a large puzzle with Elvis wearing  his gold lame suit from 1957. I had my picture taken with some of the Tribute Artists, Kevin and Dwayne Bezaire and my favourite, Paul Anthony from England. My knowledge of Elvis grew a ton and I had so much fun! Through this experience I also noticed how much I look like some of the guys... we could have all been related to Elvis!
