In order to be considered for employment with Community Living Peterborough, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Must have or be actively pursuing a University degree or a College diploma in Human Services
  • A minimum of six (6) months experience working regularly with people who live with an intellectual disability is required
  • A successful Police, including a Vulnerable Sector Police Check dated within the last 31 days (from Offer date)
  • A combination of relevant education, training and experience may also be considered
  • Operate own vehicle with a minimum of $1,000,000 liability insurance with a valid “G” driver’s license is considered an asset
  • Current First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certifications are required
  • Knowledge of Personal Outcomes and positive behaviour support plans is preferred
