We ensure that items that can be recycled do not end up in land-fills.

• - We work with college and university students and staff in identifying everything that can be recycled on campus and in setting up a user-friendly self sorting recycling system.

• - We bring forth ideas/concerns around recycling to the attention of campus environmental decision makers.

• - We educate people on what and how to recycle and compost through our day to day interactions with people and through presentations. 

• - We sort cafeteria trays, office and classroom blue boxes, properly preparing the recyclable items for pick-up.

• - We make 'Second Life Notebooks' from paper collected on campus.

- We collect and ship ink cartridges.

- We assist in making Trent's year-end Convocation water-bottle-free.
